I started a podcast talking about design and running a digital agency. I recorded 24 episodes, with over 1,000 regular listeners that was regularly in the top lists on Product Hunt.

I decided to track the download weights of mobile apps over the course of 6 weeks to see how much bandwidth updates took. The results shocked me.

Occasionally you meet companies with a drive and vision to be the very best at what they do, but that’s not always enough to stay ahead of the competition. A visionary company needs people with the courage to try something so different it may cannibalise their existing business model.

I was recently ask to quote on a piece for the Times Raconteur Digital Economy Supplement. An interesting piece asking how artificial intelligence might affect consumer behaviour online.

We were Fuentes to work with a company called LooWatt whose product was being deployed in Madagascar. After building our prototypes we went out there to test our ideas on tech ground.

When you’re too close to something it can be difficult to get new ideas flowing. We tried some new techniques to tackle a common problem from a new perspective.

An idea I came up with after playing with early clipboard managers, something I thought would work much better as a platform feature. Universal clipboard was later announced the following WWDC.

Find my friends is a feature I use regularly, but I’ve always found the way it works confusing. In this post I redesign it to be simpler and more of an integral system, feature.
